Our new General Manager - Jenny Knight

Dr Jenny Knight joined our small team as General Manager in December 2022. If you took part in our ecological survey programme on Bryn Arw last year, you might have met Jenny. She has had many lives – musician, teacher and executive. She has a Masters in Science and Technology Studies and recently completed her PhD at the Birmingham Institute of Forest Research on the importance of land manager expertise in Tree planting for Natural Flood Management. Jenny has significant management experience in education and teaching and is an expert panel member of the ‘Trees and Timber Deep Dive’ Welsh Government Advisory board. Having travelled the country over the last 20 years, Jenny is delighted to be home, working with and for the community and within the landscape she loves.
