Growing Forward: Our Impact Report 2024/25

We are delighted to share our 2024/25 Impact Report, highlighting all that we have achieved together over 12 months to July — from expanding woodland creation and ecological restoration projects to growing our amazing volunteer community.

 

The headlines:

  • 101,052 trees planted (99.8% native broadleaf) including 11km of hedgerows on farms;
  • 13ha of land brought into habitat management for ecological restoration;
  • 60 farmers and other landowners received  and/or grants, and advised another 37 landowners;
  • £590,000 worth of support, advice and capital resources delivered to date; £286,000 in direct grant payments to farmers and landowners for ongoing maintenance;
  • 135,000 saplings growing in our Community Tree Nursery;
  • 6,500 hours of volunteer time;
  • 430,000+ planted trees within our expanding maintenance and monitoring programme;
  • We have made a substantial contribution to improving the state of nature in Wales;
  • This coming winter, we will plant our 500,000th tree.
