Taking a tiny breather to tell you about our first plant of the season in Dec 24, Porth Y Parc. This is a lovely site where we're using a method we're calling 'Pocket Forests' to increase tree cover and manage bracken. By putting farm and landowner needs first, we're able to work together to find innovative approaches that meet multiple needs...

Maintenance and monitoring is at the heart of our operations and is a growing program. As we get further along, you'll see more and more information from us about how our trees are progressing, what we're learning and developing along the way

Now is the best time to get out and give your trees a pre-winter health check. Rachel (our Operations Manager) has spent the season with our landowners, monitoring the progress of all the schemes we have planted to date. The success has been great and part of that is due to the attention and care of the individuals, farmers and families who look after the trees. Of course not everyone has looked after trees before, and sharing best practice and answering questions is part of our everyday. Rachel shares here some of our top tips for caring for your trees, whether you've planted with us or anyone else.

The end of the summer events calendar saw us out at the Abergavenny Food Festival - a great weekend despite the weather. Getting out to the local and agricultural shows is really important to us and we've been delighted to meet a lot of you in person over the last few months.
